If you’re looking to buy an 8K TV, there are plenty of choices out there and most of them come from premium brands with the Samsung Q900 8K TV being one of the most popular available on the market.
As 8K TVs become more prominent you can be sure that more brands will start to launch their version of an 8K TV.
Apart from all the features that you will look for when you are searching for the best choice one of the main things that will decide on which one you get is the price. There is really no way to get around the fact that 8K TVs, currently, will be quite expensive.
You will pay on average around $5000 – $50,000 + depending on the TV that you are going for and the features that you have.
However, in this post we’re going to tell you about the Hisense 85U9E 8K TV which is in 8K TV due to be launched with plenty of features and we think it will also be one of the best budget 8K TVs available.
Hisense are a well-known TV brand and while they do not have the same clout as Samsung, they have made a name for themselves with 4K TV and providing brilliant budget options. The problem with buying a budget TV is that you don’t know whether it is going to last.
Hisense have broken the mould and offered 4K TVs that get some really good reviews on Amazon and people seem very happy with the price as well.
Now they are hoping to achieve the same thing with an 8K TV:
Hisense 85U9E 8K TV Features & Preview:
The Hisense 85U9E 8K TV has not launched yet but we will tell you some of the features that were made available when this TV was mentioned that the IFA2019.
The Hisense 85U9E 8K will measure up to 85 inches and give you the standard 8K quality. One of the interesting things about this TV is that it will also include 4K upscaling, you will see some of the bigger brands do this, it means that you are able to watch 4K image and it will automatically try to upgrade to 8K.
They have also developed something called the 8k Super Resolution Upscaler to achieve this, of course we will not know how good the upscaling feature is until they launch the TV ready for testing, we will keep you updated on that from this website.
Great Picture Quality:
The TV will also feature 1694 local dimming zones that will give you accurate picture reproduction and this is also managed by something called the Hi-view engine. This works by controlling the backlit picture and using AI technology to constantly tweak the image to give you the best viewing quality.
If you’re watching sports for instance the image will emphasise different parts than if you were watching a movie.
Hisense also have a new processing chip which is the power behind all the functions on the TV. In fact, with nearly all these 8K TVs whether you are going for a Samsung or Sony, they quite often have new chips that are superfast and able to handle all the functions that they need to.
The Hisense has claimed that their new chip will be able to give you “a combination of powerful algorithms “that will give you a very smooth and clear picture. In fact, they claimed that this TV will give you the smoothest motion of any 8K TV on the market, which is a pretty bold claim, but we will see as soon as they launch this.
There is also something called the Quantum Dot Wide Color and this will give you very accurate colour reproduction which will look fantastic if you’re watching landscapes, such as in documentaries etc…
All the functions above combine to give you a very clear picture and with the processor it should keep TV superfast, so you are able to experience far less lag and far better quality.
Conclusion:
The Hisense 85U9E 8K sounds fantastic and we believe that although the features are strong above the main competing factor will be the price. Hisense have managed to achieve a great alternative for 4K TV at a lower price than some of the competitors.
We believe that they will do the same with the 8K TV and we are interested to see the verdict.
